[IN] MEMORIAM

Commissioned by Contact as part of AT HOME

A poetry installation for one person at a time created as part of Contact’s AT HOME artist residencency. Over 1000 donated sympathy cards strung over 3 miles of twine were used to created a forest to get lost in and a space to remember those we miss. [IN] MEMORIAM is dedicated to William Stephen Evans, who died by suicide in 1996.

‘I was totally unprepared for how moved I would feel by this installation – you completely captured both visually and verbally the aching hole that loss creates.’ // AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
