my heart is hitchiking down peachtree st

‘it creates a world so artfully that you leave the theatre swearing you’ve travelled to Georgia and back.’ // THE GUARDIAN
'...its questions about home, memories and distance pack an emotional punch' // TOTAL THEATRE
'If you haven't heard of Fergus Evans, you soon will' // PINK NEWS

my heart is hitchhiking down peachtree street is a solo show for small audiences about living far away from home. It’s about the stories you tell people when they ask you when you’re from. It’s about learning that once you leave, you can’t go back. Using animation, storytelling, and spoken word, my heart is hitchhiking down peachtree street is about trying to make sense of where you come from when you’re very far from home.
